From what I was reading, now that tuitions for colleges in
Germany will no longer be free, there may be less Germans
"doing research" in the future. 

They said it costs them as much as $245 US per semester for lab
fees already (WOW!) and I didn't know if I should laugh or cry.
I _would_ like to say "Welcome, Germany, to the REAL world". ;-)
