Rich, I use DOSLFNBK to facilitate backups to my tape drive with an
OS/2 backup utility. I have never had a case that I have not been able
to successfully restore my W95 partition.
I am FAT all the way so can't address your concerns about OS/2 LFNs but
shouldn't OS/2 Backup software handle that?
