Hi, Just in case any FDxx owners has missed it, David Schmoll has recently posted the fix for the QWKRR incompatibilty with these drives. The pokes are: DS> poke 15211,164 DS> poke 15212,254 DS> poke 15215,198 DS> poke 15216,229 Since the original QWKRR V4.1 has been released there has been several pokes issued for various reasons, and although this particular fix has turned out to be easier that I expected I will continue with my plans to release another utility update to perform these pokes for you (as well as all the others). So if there is anyone that is not "comfortable" with poking then wait a while until I release this new utility. I also intend to include Russ Praters QPA utility in this upgrade package (to aid users that need ARC uploads), plus any other info that never quite made it into the doc's (such as the poke to change the cold exit to a warm exit). I'm not going to "rush" this upgrade though.. I'd rather wait a week or two for any other bug reports and fixes that may be required. As yet there has been no other "real" bug reports apart from the lock-up one that I found, and the "TRON" when warm exitting. I would like *all* QWKRR users to give the program a thorough testing over the next week or so to help eliminate any other problems 'cos if we find all the problems *now* then we won't have to worry about more pokes in the future, I'll be able to incorperate them all in this next upgrade package. I am pretty confident though that other than the problems already found that the program is "bug free".
