SS> Actually, the default editor can be changed via the IDE.CFG file in the
SS> \WATCOM\BINB directory. I've already posted specifics, so if you want

DG| Please do, the message has long since scrolled off of my system
  | and my HUBs.

Search the IDE.CFG in the \WATCOM\BINB directory for the following chunk:

Rule TXT
Target *.txt *.h *.hpp *.c *.cpp *.def *.cfg *.rc *.asm
  Target *.sqc *.sqp *.ipf
  Action "&Edit Text"
    HotKey CTRL E
    Default
    Command "!Editor EditFile ${at}"
    Hint "Edit the ASCII file"

and change the "Command" line to the editor of your choice (I use
QEdit/2):

    Command "Q.EXE ${at}"

You can only use OS/2 editors (my favorite editor is TSE, which Semware
offers only a DOS version at this time).
