You think that was tough on you?  Mine's aluminum (al-u-min-ium to 
those north of the border  ) and is not always in the water, 
especially on a run!

Sounds like both price and a trade-off on weight has to be weighed, 
doesn't it.

Weren't trying hard enough, I see...  I'm helping a local sailor 
get his engine back into running condition, as he came close to 
sking his.  I'll have to remember to ask him what type keel he 
has, though I'm sure that wasn't the reason for the near disaster...
