The Wisconsin Guard or Reserve (I'm not sure which) lost a KC-135 a
couple years ago. It was on the ground and they were doing some
maintenance work on it when a fuel tank exploded. There were a few
fatalities. The probable cause was cited as a spark, from a fuel pump
or a quantity gauge, in the fuel tank.
