I looked up the fish in question in the AquaLog book on Loricarid catfishes. 
It showed a picture of it. Best I can tell you is that it appeared to be 
about 4 inches long (a guy was holding it on his hand). It does appear to be 
a Peckoltia - it was identified as Peckoltia cf. angelicus. The fish in the 
picture was golden with lots of spots. That was the fish pictured as L28.
