I'm *really* glad you're not in that situation anymore!

Well, ours only carries Craftworks and another generic type. I have been
considering donating a subscription to Pieceworks to this library, just to
get them turned on to a quality mag.

I had similar problems with a small town library I used to frequent. We
donated an entire library of science fiction and fantasy books, which they
did NOT have in the stacks. Instead of enriching the community with decent
SF, they sold the books at auction, leaving new fans to the likes of L. Ron
Hubbard. Sad. We also donated the complete works of Shakespeare in one
volume, only to have the book disappear - no one knows where. I was quite
peeved and decided to stop giving anything to that library.

What kind are you looking for? I have about 20 that could use a new
home. Are you interested in mags, too, or just books?
