I agree.  And the USR is inferior to the Viper too.  There is one
major problem I have with the Viper in that it doesn't adaptive
answer for me completely successfully.  And that means I can't
use my system as a fax.  And that sux.  Which is why I will
probably scrap the Netcomm, and the Viper, and get a Taiwanese one.
At least I'm saving money, whatever warts I have to live with
(including possibly no fax).

BTW, I'll be trying out the adaptive answer on Saturday night/Sunday
to find out just who can't handle the adaptive answer on the Viper.
