actually, it doesn't... it breaks several aspects... or it used to and may
have been fixed finally after many complaints... one item had to do with
how messages were deleted and possibly undeleted... by that, i mean
"marked for deletion"... messages are marked for deletion and can
be easily unmarked with the proper tools... IIRC, the problem was that the
new headers were not written as the spec calls for... instead, they were
modified in place... it has been close to 20 years, though...
