Yeah, you're taking about 1.75 seconds negotiation time, compared to
what used to be 1 second.  However, I'm not really keen to speed that
up, because it's basically fast enough usually now (about 1.5 seconds),
and this way I am able to completely avoid changing that code.  It was
worth it before to cut 5 seconds down to 1.  But not to cut 1.5 down
to 1.  BFN.  Paul.

P.S. Those failed calls (2) you had the day I put the Spirit Viper in
were my fault.  I tried to answer with "adaptive answer".  Actually
I'm about to try that again.
