subject: Exchange Problem.

From: "Hrvoje Mesing"

Hi,

not sure if this is the right group but ill FUT it to *.nthelp too.

I have Exchange 2K on Win2K Server machine.

I have one user that has Win Account and E-Mail through IMAP and uses X.400
connector == Clean situation.

Now, i need to Lock that persons Acc., but! i want, when somebody intern or
from outside send him an e-mail to auto respond with Standard Error Msg:
That user doesnt exists/That e-Mail dont exists.

If i Lock the Account mail is forwarded to his connected Inbox. I dont want
to use Out Of Office Reply and i dont want to use Rules (still, i could do
that with Rules and to auto reply with specific Error Msg.

Is there an option for something like that ? Im interested in mechanism that exists.

Tought that if i use Exchange Tasks and kill its attributes dus
disconnecting his mailbox off the user Account, but Exchange tasks are
grayed for all users in the domain in the moment == i dont know why, no
error msg in Event Logs nor on Exchange nor on any of DCs or GCs. This is
something thats bugging me from today.

Also, if I try to use Exchange Sys Admin and make a Clean Up on mailbox i
get an error (Access Denied) which tells that i firstly need to clean users
in way to correct their SIDs, etc.

So, any ideas or advices ?

P.S. I cannot read from this News server from my work so I am begging for
Replys to: bakar{at}metro-cc.hr - this is very important to me.

Thank You very much!
