No it's not. This was a "programmatic" test ? 
I literally created a test post using default values to test whether sending to echos was doable using the particular tool.  
If I do it on purpose, and I SET the real name and it didn't come through, THEN I would agree it was broken. As it stands it did exactly as advertised on the box.
