PE> Shit, I went back into the logs to find out if my end reported the
PE> same thing that it did to Frank, but it's a completely different
PE> problem. That was when I was trying out the EMX port of Binkley,
PE> and it failed. That was a once-off thing. A few hours later (you
PE> may have noticed the line was engaged), the problem was fixed. BTW,
PE> I am now running with the EMX port.

BG> Yeah, I figured it might have had something to do with the Great Upgrade of
BG> 1996, but thought I'd tell you anyway, just in case it was a BTPE bug.

Not sure what you're calling the Great Upgrade, but things that
have happened here recently are:

1. Someone reported that an EMX compile of BTPE didn't work
properly. They were right, which is why there is a 4.01 which has
changes for EMX, and I am running an EMX version now.

2. I changed my hard disk, and will be changing my motherboard and
RAM soon.

3. I have got a Viper on loan.

4. I ran out of things that I wanted to do so I've been replying to
any old crap you happen to have written, whilst watching LHWARP
compress 400 Amiga floppies at a rate of about 20 mins/floppy.

Which all reminds me, I can attempt to ring up Netcomm, yet again.

BFN. Paul.
