No, I'm in the one below, "Give in".

I didn't realise we had the option till now. Let me summarize:
1. I don't think we should post uuencodes, FREQs should be used for
that. Whilst it's only volume as the complaint, it is silly to lose
the MAJOR BENEFITS we get from the transportation done by the "rest
of fidonet". If the complaint is about the echo content, we just
have to lose nodes that care about that, otherwise there's no point
in the echo. Some nodes have already dropped it (including Trev),
who cares.
2. If people are concerned about loss of messages, then they must
arrange their own feed through reliable systems. I am one of the
few nodes around with a reliable (or at least, debuggable if
problems are reported) system. To expand the reliable network,
someone needs to connect to me. Peter Neilsen is the only one
who is on the verge of doing that. And that's assuming he is
reliable anyway. He certainly doesn't have the ability to fix
problems with his software. However, I do think that he will at
least check the integrity of his software if problems are
reported, and presumably change software thereafter, which makes
him good enough for the job.
BFN. Paul.
