Thank you all for your suggestions and experiences for working with
Y-Splitter/Pigtails/PowerSplitter Molex connectors.
Apparently, there are 43quintilllion posibilities with Rubic's Cube,
that's 23 digits. The World record for a solution is 27+ secs. A
computer consultant in Toronto working with a lubricated cube has a
personal best of 17 secs, and an average of which he has kept a record
over the years of 27+secs.
The Rubic fans are having their first convention in Toronto this year
first time in 20+ years, and the cube is making a big come back.
Iain offered the solution which I thought I would try, which was to
solder the wires onto the pin. So I tossed it to my son, (that's what
they are for aren't they).
He said immediately, I can take that pin out. After some dire warnings
from Dad, he triumphantly annouced in less that 30 seconds, that he had
the pin out, without a special tool just a small set of needle nosed
pliers, and totally undamaged.
Hence the comment about the Rubic Cube.
I sheepishly thanked my offsping, who of course did mental handspings
that he had bested the best.
Thank you all.
