Why do you say you don't think it should be done?  Just looking for a
point clarification.  

I don't understand they idea behind it.  If a person is running a BBS,
why become a point.  Is it for a test to see if you like the network?
What?  The amount of time I spent getting things working and such, would
preclude me from becoming a point.  I'd want voting rights and such
after all that work.  :)
