subject: Printing / memory problem

CJÎ Recently my wife drew a map to our house using the Paint
CJÎ Brush program included in win-os2. She did a very nice
CJÎ job for our church members but thing won't print. Every
CJÎ time we try to print it, a dialogue box pops up and
CJÎ tells us that we don't have enough memory (I have 64meg
CJÎ installed) or the printer isn't installed correctly.
Just a thot: print using your current printer definition,
but print to a file. Then when the file is complete, copy
the file to the printer port. This trick used to work very
well for me, tho I haven't needed it in a while.
If the program calls the "print" function that is part of DOS,
that print program trys to setup a 64K buffer, and OS/2 may
not allow it. Printing to file may get around the
limitation.
And then I could be all wet....
