Police action includes testing these substances because their
composition is at issue and must be proven in court. In the cases you
are referring to, I doubt there was any issue that the substance was
a glucose tablet. That was probably admitted and evident on the face
of the matter. Unfortunately, school rules prohibit such tablets.
