No joy, all it extracted were the new messages I've received since the
database bombed.

It appears to me that my Inbox database got completely erased, but the
index was untouched, that's why the list still shows hundreds of empty
messages of varying lengths and dates.

I think I've located my old inbox files on CD, although the filename is
different.  I wonder how Agent goes about naming the database files... 
When I backed up my Agent\Data folder in May, I copied everything, but
there are no old files with the same filename as my present Inbox.

When my Inbox got nuked, I had just received multiple RED warnings from
Norton Anti-Virus about the w98.netsky virus, I wonder if there's any
connection?
