Hello John!
Maybe I was dreaming, but didn't you say this on Monday May 19 1997
JK> curry at a local resturant. Does anyone have recipes for
JK> goat meat?
Sure do, John. Here are three for you. But first, this is the recipe for the
powder used in the leeward Islands to make the Goat curry. It's called

Title: Colombo Curry Powder 1 (St Kitts)
Categories: Misc, Mix
Yield: 1 mix
30 g Coriander seeds
60 g Cummin seeds
1 tb Poppy seeds
1 tb Cloves
1 tb Mustard seeds - brown
30 g Peppercorns
60 g Ground Turmeric
30 g Ground ginger
Toast the coriander, cumin, cloves peppercorns, poppy & mustard seeds
in a heavy iron frying pan until the mustard seeds begin to jump
about, or in the oven for about 10 minutes. Cool and grind in a
mortar or in an electric blender and mix with the ground spices.
Sieve. As a general rule use 1 tb of powder for 1kg meat, rather less
