Hi,

Most all of these pins and sockets have 1 or 2 small
tabs at the bottom of the connecting part that are
slightly pulled out of the body as a barb. It is
inserted from the wire end into the body where the
barbs snap out in a larger part of the hole preventing
it from pushing back toward the wire end. Usually you
can push a small screwdriver or a dental pick or probe
in the plug end and bend the tabs into the pin or
plug, then slied it back out the wire end. Then just
use the pick to slightly bend out the barb(s) and it
will lock into the body again.
