It's probably checking to see if the machine is still alive, if not then it
removes it from the browse list.
If the machine is a domain member, you need netbios over tcp or it can't do
it's security thing and talk to the domain controller, it can however use
port 445 instead of 139 I believe but I don't know the procedure to set
that. I think it involves turning off some of the backwards compatibility
(eliminating NTLM or something like that).
