Yes, and have you ever tried to get a chip for your P24t socket

Upgrading is a waste of money, Usually when you do finally source the 
chip to do your upgrade, it is twice as dear as going out and buying a 
whole new Motherboard with the pentium on it.

Take my word for it.  It happens all the time with most other 
peripherals for computers

The word "Upgradeable" is a salesmans ploy to suck you in and when it 
comes time to do it, that same salesman has spent your money and is 
nowhere to be seen.
