Hi Douglas, >>> Subj^^ I can list it with list.com >>> but my dos/win editors run out of line lenght.:( >> Hmm.. the line length should be at 77 characters.. is that what you're >> seeing? Over here >> it looks to be single spaced. > I get it normal single spaced. Ok, that's good. > just no line feeds or cr's. Hmm.. it would seem then, that editor that I'm using is stripping them instead of leaving them in. I have it set up to leave them in, but a recent upgrade of various linux packages may have affected that editor's behaviour. Argh.. I'm glad you mentioned this, because it should _not_ be happening :) > I can hit the return in the editer and it pulls more info from > a buffer or the file for the next line. > Ok I set write.exe to wrap to the window. > and I get the whole file not very prety though. That is pretty yucky . > I bet I got a linux>dos txt converter around here somewhere:) Heh. I've got to get this fixed though, one way or the other because the filegate.zxx file is not the only file that might eventually be affected..there are several options, at least so I'm pretty sure I can fix this. Thanks for letting me know about it.. Take care, Janis --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 261/38 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
