PE> I will grant you that this is a toned-down message, but quite

BG> Has it not yet occurred to you that my purported
"absolute" statements are

There's a big difference. YOU say something like:
The fault clearly lies in the V32bis code in the Supra.
*I* say something like:
A V32bis Supra is failing to connect to a USR Courier.
Notice the difference? Even someone with a single neuron should be
able to notice the difference. One is documenting an observed fact,
which can never be wrong. The other one is blowing wind out of one's
arse.
BG> After all, YOU'RE the one continually
BG> changing and trying new modems at your end, yet when we impart our
BG> observations
If you impart observations, you are not blowing wind out of your arse.
If you are imparting information about modem code, when you don't have
a fucking clue, then you are blowing wind out of your arse. If you
can grasp this simple concept, you will no longer be an arse-wind-blower.
BG> to you, we're "talking out of our arses". Fuck me, we're only
BG> trying to help you.
"Help" involves giving me raw data, not arse-wind-blowing.
BG> Despite your own peurile thoughts on the matter, I happen to be extremely
BG> impressed with the way in which my Courier performs, so from now on, you
Yes, but you're the sort of person who gets impressed by a dog licking
its balls.
BG> can solve your own modem problems, and go fuck yourself (and not
BG> necessarily in that order), understood? :)
I presume you thought that by the time I got to the end of replying
to this message, I would have forgotten what the original was about.
The original being about your claim that the Viper never had a non-EC
connect, whereas I quoted a message where you said exactly that. Well,
you ALMOST judged that correctly, I came within an ace of replying
"whatever" to the last bit, before I remembered it was a giant
smokescreen. BFN. Paul.
