1239f32bba14 tech Hello Viktor - ->>> Do I recall correctly that PowerQuest sold Drive Image to ->>> Norton and they put it up on a back room shelf when they ->>> acquired Ghost??? TW>> I don't think so. Will have to take a look at the Power TW>> Quest Web site later today and verify that one. VP> Not really, PQ DriveImage is alive and well, the last VP> version is 7.0 (AFAIK) and being sold for something like VP> 80$. Once I decided I wouldn't pay the price for commercial image copiers I stopped trying to keep them organized (in my mind) as to which does what. Recently Fred Langa has written about some that only work from within Windows and no longer boot from DOS? Seems a bit precarious to assume that when needing to restore an image copy Windows will be booting at that time? I personally use a shareware version of BootitNG and have no complaints. I have restored my entire OS partition 14 times to date to recover from the previous owners mistakes and some of my own. Tweaking W2K without an image copy would be a huge mistake IMO. ;-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
