No Molly Ringwald was a poor choice for Fran Goldsmith. But Gary Sinise made 
an good Stu Redmen and Cory Nemec a sleezy Harold Lauder...and Bill (guy from 
coach) made a pretty good Tom Cullen. :)
 
The Stand was a long mini-series and easily could have been a series for 
television for one season atleast. There was still so much they had to delete 
from the novel format to make a 8 hour mini-series! :)
