Advantages of one echo.
Saves time, money and storage space for users and sysops.
*Time*
No more reading dupes in both echoes. Smaller packets = faster transfers.
Also easier to check out all the offers before you write a reply.
*Money*
Faster transfers = lower phone bills.
*Storage*
The smaller the packet the less you need. This is true for both the sysops
and the offline readers.
You paid for your storage space. How everyone place their hand on their
checkbook and ask yourself "How much usage do I want to get from my hard
drive and how much wear and tear do I want to subject it to".
Two echoes is a waste of everyone's resources... Get everyone to carry the
other echo then let this one die. This should be easy with to do just write
a notice addressed to sysop and every sysop concerned would get it..
My two cents worth.
