To convert a .hlp file to an .inf file, take a hex editor and change
the fourth byte from 0x10 to 0x01. Then you can 'view ' the file by
typing 'view .hlp' on the command line.

Thelp (archive Thelp021.lzh ) is an OS/2 character mode program,
which, amongst other things, will convert inf and hlp files to text
files. I know its at OS/2 Shareware BBS, if you can't get it from
anywhere nearer.
