Personally, I only use the IDE to change compiler options and SS> provide the make facility... I guess I'm spoiled, I've been using TC so long now, that's what I'm used to. I started off using POWER C which was strictly command line, I bought TC and it took me six months to even start using it, I didn't want to learn the IDE, nor did I want to mess around with all the added compiler options. I guess I'm slow to change. But, for people like me it sure would be nice if Watcom made there IDE an actual IDE instead of a Makefile shell. It seems like it would be pretty easy to write some code for a text mode makefile utility, instead of using the Slow gui based watcom IDE. It would also be nice if the IDE would pass the line number to the editor in the form of a command line argument so it would go to the error in VI. -Carl- ~~~ PGPBLUE 2.6 *BETA* ...
