Hi All!
I have some systems that have some requirements that I am not versed
enough on to determine what I need to do. These are the requirements;
1. The systems need to be ableto use the existing network which is in
place and tcp/ip to telnet into a system to get access to a system
that I am not that familiar with. I do know that all they need is the
telnet capability.
2. The systems are also going to need to use the same network and
tcp/ip to do 3270 terminal emulation. After some looking, the latest
version of Personal Communications ver 4.2, supports tcp/ip to do 3270
emulation.
Now the questions, the customer is currently using Warp 3.0. Is
upgrading to Warp 4.0 a requirement? What do I need to install to get
Warp to work with tcp/ip as well as being a client on a Novell 4.1
network? Warp 4.0 comes with Personal Communications, is it at the
4.2 level or is the 4.1 to 4.2 a free or pay upgrade.
If anyone is doing something like this, please contact me at
chammon@isonline.com. I would appreciate any information that you can
give.
Thanks!
Chris
