Oh sure. I think I saw my first Ampeg amp in 1964, when a guy that we
knew came over and jammed with my band. He had a wonderful-sounding
Ampeg amp (not a bass amp), a real echoplex, and a Gibson 335. It was
my first direct exposure to real pro gear (we were using Silvertone amps
at the time).
