| subject: | WHICH COMPILER? |
SF>Hi guys, I'm new in OS/2 programming. So could you please suggest me a C++
SF>compiler? So far, I know that there are 3 compiler, BC++ v1.5, C Set++ v2.1,
SF>Watcom v10, and GNU C++ compiler. Which one of this is the best?
Until a month ago, I didn't speak C at all. That was when I bought my
Borland C++ for OS/2 v1.5 compiler and a copy of Teach Yourself C in 21
days. While I don't pretend to be a C expert, I am already writing
multi-language EXE's with assembler and calling a few 16 bit DLL's with
their __far16 setup. I am not dissapointed in this product. However,
like I said, this is my first C compiler so I have no basis for
comparison.
