And I believe that is exactly what happened.  I think NAV must've
quarantined my Inbox's .dat file, and I didn't check closely enough before
emptying the Quarantine folder.

I'm going to have to recover the saved messages from the Inbox in an old
system backup.  I'll lose months of saved messages, but it's better than
nothing.
