BH> I have Stoodley's Genus Amazona. It was hard to find. Do you know if it
BH> is out of print too? If not do you know anyone carrying it for sale? I
I think that it is. Cost is about $80. I think that Sroodley is doing a turn
around about keeping captive birds. At the AFA last summer he said that his
wife was against it and he was heading that way.
BH> Do you get Fast Ads? Someone told me about someone selling a bunch of
BH> uncommon pyrhurra conures in the Fast Ads. Things like Souances, Yellow
I have one from January. I haven't renewed my subscription, so I won't have
this months. I will look for you.
BH> BTW, do you know Davis? I talked to him a few times several years ago
No.
BH> Denise, and I forget the last name right now, in Texas that used to have
BH> some, but I think she sold them. Someone on this echo left me info of
BH> someone in Tx I think that might be able to help me get another hen.
BH> Was it you that gave me the info? If so do you remember the guy to
I told you that I knew a woman is San Antonio named Denise that brokers birds
and I tink that she breeds conures.
BH> babies I can sell that is when I pay bills and get stock I need. I think
You too, huh.
BH> you said that you don't go to the auctions but have a friend who does.
BH> Isn't there one near a Military base or Brownsville or something? i used
It is held in Mission, Texas. It is the birds that are confiscated.
BH> the auctions, maybe they would be willing to look out for a Olive
BH> throated for me. Maybe if a dealer buys some they could let me know who
BH> got 'em. Also if any Red Bellied Macaws happen to go through. I guess
My friend wouldn't know a Conure from a Cockatoo. She is into water
fowl.
I hear that Red Bellies are hard to breed and don't make good pets. Is it
true.
