i will do that, thank you.
is it possible to flash 'the zone 3 modems' ? i have spoken to the people i
need to spek too and have decided top try few experiments as regards the
codes. the microcom won't push vac line out the serial port (ala usr couriers
of some 5 years ago .. grim grin) and as fara as the modems dialtone
recognition, well that is my problem isn't it.
getting the cose is easy installit might prove a problem anyhelp would be
apreciated. i an having serious connectivity problems with my service
providor. thy are using gvc clone modems (might actually be gvc branded)
because they were cheap, well i cannot connect relaibly at over some 14k4 on
a good day, yet i get reliable 48k to an x2 rack or 33k6 to other 'quality'
v.34+ modems and toher couriers and my microcom works ok at 28k8 even to this
rogue isps raft of gvc's.
i am getting frustratingly desperate.
with thanks,
regards ... jonathan
