I think you have previously pointed out that as bad as Microsoft is, there are many more bugs in Linux/PHP etc. I certainly would prefer to be responsible for administering a Windows network, but these stupid security problems must be making a few PHBs think that trying Linux (particularly from IBM) wouldn't be a bad idea. Of course Microsoft are desperately trying to maintain/expand the "active content" syndrome for future revenue possibilities. The day I can click something in Notepad and find myself playing a video or viewing a web site is the day I will give up on Windows!
