Half the time they would just freeze at post up. Other times the machine would report no drive present. The only way to use them was to keep the machine on 24/7 and hope you didn't have to re-boot. And yes, it happened on more than one machine. At work we saw lot's of problems with the CFA1080A They were used as O.E.M. drives for Packard Bell computers. The horror stories the poor Packard Bell customers use to have.
