A much more clear view to swing - uh, no, I don't THINK so.  It could 
be like in Aikido though, where going with the motion of the attacker 
often causes the attacker to inflict grave damage to him or her self.
(And Aikido, to me, is poetry in motion to watch!)
Of course I always did get a great deal of benefit PERSONALLY from the 
Oriental view of life, when I was able to comprehend it - which isn't 
always easy for me, as I don't stay "still" long enough to do so. 
(Still within my mind)
But, of course, you could be right and I very well could be wrong.
