Unless you can get in and read the source code, you are flying blind as to
what is really going on.

He was working on the basis that with all the disk space he had, he would
only trim it after 12 months.!!

It's trimmed now!!!
27 megs of Old mesages in one area and the rest since then in another. It
was all I could do as the tosser would NOT add to the corrupted file
