Point is why should you have to 'edit a file' to mount things?  I suppose 
there's good reasons for it, but it sure is awkward.  I've tried some hints 
from the Knoppix FAQ and some other stuff off the net was well re mounting 
things, but I can't get it to work.

I know there are people out there who love the thing, and I really want to 
give it a fair shot, but so far I'm really not happy with the distro's I've 
used.  Maybe Mandrake will end that for me?
