ST> The same way as "how do you know that all humans were destroyed".
ST> You're basing your beliefs entirely on the sight of Midgar. I base
No. I'm basing my beliefs on the whole game. I think that humans
caused more trouble than they tried to prevent it.
ST> my beliefs on everything that happened in the game, as well as
ST> seeing Red's decendants running through the valley - which even that

True. How did he have children? But, his grandfather was human. And
his mother and father were... of his race.
ST> Aerith would not have conjured Holy knowing that it would have
ST> destroyed all of humanity. She did it as a way to *save* humanity.
She did it to save the -planet-, not humans. Although they did expect
humans to live, too. Until, that is, they found out that the planet had to
decide.
ST> Actually you are the only one that I know of that believes the human

Someone on this echo believes what I said happened is true.
ST> seperate "good" or "bad" ending. There is only one ending. To believe

ST> are to lose no matter what you do?
The whole point was to enjoy the game. You don't have to be rewarded
a good ending for a game to actually be good. Same with movies. Take
Titanic. The ending is an unhappy one, but it's called the movie of the
year.
The point I'm trying to get across is that a game doesn't have to end
in a happy note to actually be worth playing.
ST> of what we should strive to be worthy of. You may believe that we
ST> are worthless and deserve to eradicated like parasites. That there
That's not what I believe. I think they died because they caused more
trouble than help. Yes, there could be hope for humanity, ut if the planet
gave up hope, it would wipe them out, like I think it did.
