OK, we can write this one off.  They say prices were off because of the
"mad cow" scare.  Well, prion disease is no laughing matter, but when
volume is as low as -60% below average just a slight imbalance of buy
and sell orders can move the market.  In that light, the market was
hardly changed at all.  Friday is only a half-day too.  Don't ignore the
market, the prices really count even if they are on negligible volume.
Just don't expect much "meaning" from the trading.

Oh, yeah, Merry Christmas to all!  Remember, it's ONLY the stock market!
