Very easily. Perhaps you could have reposted part of the story which
indicated that 3Com and Rockwell had completed their interop testing.

Perhaps you should check the post. You might also want to grab a copy of the
V.34 recommendation and read up on the INFO sequences. Given the data that
was shown in Craig's message, the modem would be correct in not using a 3429
symbol rate.
