Hi dtf & folks:
Golly! DTF and I actually agreed on a "philosophical" issue for
once! Cough! Cough! Choke! Please don't shock me like this dtf!
My heart almost stopped! :-)

p.s. How have you been?
p.p.s. My predictions for 1998....dtf will sell off his Crosmans and
use the money for an Airarms .177 cal ProElite .....just teasing you,
dtf. :-)
reh
p.p.p.s. I heard a .22 cal ProElite owner comment that the ProElite may
be a bit louder than a Beeman R7 (he had the 13" barrel). My
prediction for the future....AirArms will extend the ProElite barrel
shroud to a longer length as the current shroud was designed for the
initial 9" barrel and extending the barrel from 9" to 13" effectively
lost 4" of shroud functioning to modulate the discharge noise. A
longer shroud will ease cocking effort too. BTW, I heard that Jim
Maccari has come out with a ProElite muzzlebrake that also does
additional modulating of the ProElite's discharge noise.

Walking around with a loaded, cocked, safety off gun is an accident
ready to
happen. Stupid is not a style.
