So why are you blaming OTHER modems for something which is clearly a
problenm at YOUR end?  It simply can't be anything else, Paul.

Fucking weird, it worked fine for a week, then this.  Nothing in the stats
which would indicate a line problem either.  Anyway, at least the mail
packets transferred just fine both ways, no block or CRC errors, just a
slightly lower cps rate due to no bit-stripping (EC).
