I just purchased ECS 1.1 and cannot seem to use a
modem with it. I first installed it on a spare hard
drive on my desktop to test installing, and tried
using the (com,IO,I) statement in the com.sys device
line which didn't seem to work. I erased that hard
drive, and installed ECS on my Thinkpad T21. Found the
driver for the LT modem on the thinkpad and installed
it. The driver says it found the modem and initialized
it as com1. Hardware manager shows the same, however
Injoy or the os2 dialler won't access it. Injoy
reports "Port Open Fail". So what's the trick to get
the port open?
