I have Lexmark MarkNet adapters with multiple ports ... in the 
configuration of the unit through the software provided with it, you 
have to specify which port the printer is on; the logical LPT1 or LPT2 
or whatever.

I know in configuring the same thing for an AS/400, there is a field 
where you tell it either TCP/IP port 9100 or 9102 (I think?).

That might give you some ideas.
