I finally resolved this one (sort of) by getting into the Registry and 
changing the domain name to agree with the connection name.  When I 
upgraded this machine from a P5-133 to a P5-200 MMX I changed the domain 
name.
RAS still isn't working entirely to my satisfaction and I may have to do 
as you suggested.  Thanks for the reply.
